Terms of Service

Last updated: September 20, 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Plumely (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Plumely (Plumely Studio) provides three tools: a browser-based, local-first video editor (editing and export run on your own device); a marketplace where businesses post briefs and creators bid on them directly; and a Quiz & Survey tool for building and running quizzes, assessments, and surveys. Together these are the “Service.” The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

2. Service capacity and concurrent use

Certain features, including the Quiz & Survey tool, depend on shared computing infrastructure with finite capacity. Performance can vary with the number of people using a feature at the same time, and during periods of high or concurrent use — for example, many participants accessing, answering, or submitting the same quiz, survey, or assessment at once — you may experience slower response times, delays, or temporary unavailability. We do not guarantee any specific level of concurrent capacity, response time, or uptime. If you plan to use the Service for a large-scale, time-sensitive, or otherwise high-stakes event, we recommend testing your expected usage in advance; we are not responsible for any loss, disruption, or missed deadline resulting from usage that exceeds the Service's practical capacity at a given time.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the videos, audio, images, and other content you import and create with Plumely (“Your Content”). Because Your Content is processed on your device and not uploaded to us, we do not claim any license to it and we do not access it. You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the rights to use it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Create or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, or violates the rights of others.
  • Circumvent, disable, or reverse engineer any access controls, licensing, or paid-feature gating in the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or attempt to access it in an unauthorized manner.

5. Paid plans

Some features may require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing intervals, and the features included in each plan will be described at the point of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date, and you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

6. Intellectual property

The Service itself — including its software, design, and branding — is owned by Plumely and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to the Service other than a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use it in accordance with these Terms.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every browser or device. Because your projects are stored on your own device, you are responsible for keeping your own backups of important work.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plumely will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
